Postiz Gegunt ("the service") is a privately operated, self-hosted social media scheduler used only by its owner. This policy explains what data the service handles when you connect a social media account.

Data we access

When you connect an account (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok), the service receives OAuth access and refresh tokens and basic profile information (channel or account name, ID and avatar). It uses these only to upload videos and publish posts that you schedule, and to show post statistics to you.

The service uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Storage and sharing

Tokens, uploaded media and scheduled posts are stored on a server controlled by the operator. They are not sold, shared with third parties or used for advertising. Data is sent only to the platform you chose to publish to.

Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention and deletion

Data is kept while the account stays connected. Disconnecting a channel in the service deletes its tokens. You can also revoke access at any time at Google security settings, or in the settings of the respective platform. To request deletion of all stored data, email the contact below.
